hi again,

yi had been working hard the past two days to fix an unpacking issue in
PET. under certain conditions, selective unpacking and grandparenting,
some valid readings would not be returned by unpacking. the fix brings
cheap back to always returning the same number of readings (unless some
limit is reached), no matter the specific packing choices.

because we deemed this bug fix important, i just checked in revised PET
binaries into the forthcoming Barcelona release of the LOGON tree.

also over the past few days, we added support for using the KRG in the
LOGON tree. the grammar resides in `khu/krg/', and `parse' and `www'
now accept a new option `--krg'.

however, this addition means everyone will have to do a one-time manual
step _prior_ to updating from SVN. there used to be an empty directory
by the name `khu/krg/' already, and you will need to delete it to make
it possible for SVN to put the actual KRG into its place.

for example, the following should work:

  cd $LOGONROOT
  ls -l khu/krg
  \rm -rf khu/krg
  make update

finally, i have started a wiki page for this release:

  http://wiki.delph-in.net/moin/LogonBarcelona

please feel free to add release-specific materials (or tests) that you
think should be included.

more on the release in the next few days :-) - oe
