unless you disabled what we did jointly for CoNLL, there is a minimal
chart mapping configuration in JaCY.  what predicates to give to uknown
words is a relatively minor aspect (where it will remain true in this
release and the future that lemmatization requires some pre- or post-
processing).

getting better control on when generic lexical entries are activated,
reliable characterization, correct CARGs, and other advantages listed
on the PetInput page would all be nice to import into JaCY sooner or
later.  but for MT and the Barcelona release, i doubt it would make a
large enough impact to recommend using time on it just now.  so maybe
after Barcelona (and the tutorial and discussions) may be a good time
to upgrade JaCY in this regard ...
